zoo de guadeloupe
For the first time in a very, very long time we don't have any friends around... or really anyone around. We already miss the company, the impromptu dinners together and the happy hours - but there is something nice about just being us for a little while.
We got a rental car for a couple days so we can explore more on land. Today's adventure was Zoo de Guadeloupe.
This might be the coolest zoo we've ever been to. The whole zoo was a huge boardwalk in the rainforest.
There was also a section of 14 different suspension bridges that go up 65 feet in the air. Some of them were a little wobblier than others, but it doesn't even phase the girls.
There were so many different animals to see - 85 different species of mammals, insects, reptiles, amphibians and birds.
By far our unanimous family favorite... the lemurs!
Their exhibit was a walkthrough exhibit, so you are in with the lemurs. We could have spent all day in there watching them jump all around.
Their faces after one jumped right over their heads...
