track is back

One of my favorite sports seasons... track. The girls have had a couple practices the last couple weeks and today was their first meet. Olivia was so excited.

Her meet was the first of the day. They warmed up. The announcer said 5 minutes until the first race. Less than 5 minutes later it started to rain and lightning. The announcer came back on and said meet was cancelled.

Emma had much better luck with her meet later in the afternoon. She ran 3 races and came home with a 2nd place and 3rd place ribbon.

She ran the 400 too. She didn't get a ribbon, but she finished and didn't come in last.
