that's a wrap...

This morning Emma had her last dance recital recording for ballet. We are officially all done with dance for this year.

Afterward we headed out to the barn for the afternoon. The plants have grown like crazy since the last time we were there.

This was the biggest lady bug I have ever seen.

I never noticed last year, but our 5 acres are full of milkweed. In the last 2 days Emma found 5 monarch caterpillars that are now living on our dining room table.

I can't wait until it blooms. It's going to be so pretty. Now I just have to stop Braden from mowing it all down!

While Emma and I were mowing the grass we found a toad. We don't see them very often around here.
