staying busy
The last couple weeks have been very busy around our house...
Braden went salmon fishing in Alaska.
We made ice cream.
Spent lots of time at the pool.
Played outside.
Visited Pancake. ❤
Repaired a mailbox.
Visited the doctor for a lingering illness (she's all good now).
Celebrated 4th of July with our friends and neighbors and smoked meat. (Afterward our front yard looked like a scene from The Hangover.)
Did fireworks.
Watched fireworks.
Had fun at another week of tennis lessons.
Started getting the bus ready!

Right now our itinerary includes South Dakota, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon and California.
Fourth Graders can get a free annual pass for their families to all the national parks (plus 2,000+ federal recreation areas), so we want to take advantage and go to as many as we can along the way.
Depending how that part of the trip goes we're also considering Nevada, Utah, Grand Canyon and New Mexico. If we can get to all of those the girls will have visited every state west of Minnesota (minus Hawaii and Alaska)!
