spring break: day 3

Today we took fishing poles and ventured out to a lake by the barn.

The girls got bored after about 15 minutes when they didn't have a single bite.

After that we drove to a nearby park with a waterfall. This is connected to the river we kayak on.

Braden and Emma are convinced we can bring the kayak down this waterfall.

I knew the park had a small duck pond, but I didn't realize it was also a trout pond. There were swans too!

Emma cartwheeled almost the whole short walk back to the car.

We made a quick stop to grab a couple essentials that we didn't have on the bus before heading back.
