naps

Naps are pretty hard to come by these days. I’m lucky if Emma will take one 45 minute nap a day. Usually they are anywhere from 5 minutes to 20 minutes. I’ve tried it all – swaddle, white noise, swing, crib, Rock n Play, Pack n Play, holding her, rocking, walking, bouncing – none of it seems to work. I’m hoping this is just a phase and she will go back to taking at least one really good nap a day. This has been going on for a few weeks, so my hopes are fading fast.

Finally I’ll get her to sleep. Even though she looks so peaceful, this nap oIMG_00442/IMG_0044-768x1024.jpg)](/content/images/2013/12/IMG_0044.jpg)

Last week she had 4 days in a row where she slept 6 to 7 hours at a time at night. It. was. awesome. Then two nights ago she decided she wanted to wake up a lot, and stay up for an hour at a time. Not cool Emma. Not cool. My fingers are crossed that she’s going to go back to sleeping good at night… soon.
