Today was Emma's last track meet... and it was a hot one.

She ran the 100 meter, 4 x 100 meter relay and the 400 meter.

She ran the 400 meter (1 lap around the track) in the very first track meet. She hated it. Last week she said she would try it again for the last meet. I walked our block and figured out how far she would have to run to get to 400 meters.... then we practiced. The first practice lap didn't go so well...

By the 6th try she was smoking me at the end. She even admitted it wasn't as bad and she made it seem after her first try. She kept saying that she was going to win the 400 meter in her track meet.

And... she came in 1st place (by a lot)! ❤
