last day of 1st grade!

This has been a crazy school year... the first day of school ended early because of a sewage leak at the school.

The last day of school ended with distance learning for the last 45 days.

This afternoon Emma's school had a farewell parade. Usually on the last day of school all the teachers go out into the parking lot and wave goodbye to all the buses. This year the teachers came to the students to wave goodbye and wish them a great summer.

Emma was SUPER excited to see her 1st grade teacher one last time. Emma really loved her teacher this year. She cried a few tears after she watched the last read aloud video from her teacher as a 1st grader this morning. Here's hoping for a somewhat normal 2nd grade year!
