Last night I called my Home Depot guy in a bit of a panic over the peninsula cabinets. He told me it was no problem to return the ones I have and order new ones… and if we weren’t happy with it now, we probably never would be so we should just get new ones.

Braden and I did some measuring, consulted the cabinet book and decided it would be best to just reorder all 3 peninsula cabinets in smaller sizes. That way I could keep the pots and pans drawer AND the spice rack… and we would still have drawers. Awesome plan!

Luckily my Home Depot guy was working today, so we headed to the store and ordered three new cabinets. Since most of our kitchen is already done he said they would put a rush on it, so hopefully we’ll get them in 2 – 3 weeks.

Kind of a pain… but I think it was the right thing to do.
