kitchen remodel: day 10

Today is the first day its starting to feel like a kitchen! We spent the weekend with an abnormally long peninusula, a stove in the middle of the floor and a dishwasher up against the dining room wall. Today everything except for the refrigerator was put in its place, the lights were hooked back up, and the floor grouted. They only have one more cabinet to install ( since we had to reorder 3 ), and then its onto crown moulding and door handles!

Counters will be measured on Wednesday. They told me it will take 10 days from the time we decide on the color. We plan to go check out the granite slabs in person on Saturday… and of course get Firehouse Subs since its in the same area.
