kitchen remodel: cabinet dilemma

This week has been full of emotional highs and lows. This morning was a high… the pantry cabinet was installed and the bar area cabinets are in! I also found out I got some special features that I wasn’t expecting… like sliding pantry shelves and a sliding shelf in the big drawers. I must have told Braden 10 times how excited I was. I’ve been sending him pictures all day, but I can’t wait for him to get home to see it in person!

The day almost ended on a low over more days of work and rescheduling the countertop measurers… again. Thankfully Braden could hear the desperation in my voice and saved the day. He didn’t want to have any part in designing the kitchen, but I’m really glad he is handling all this other non-fun stuff. Here is what it looks like at the end of day 4…
