In 4 days we had a 92 degree temperature change (-53 on Wednesday to 39 on Saturday). There are several pros and cons with this dramatic change in temperature.

Pros: it was warm enough to get the smoker out to make a brisket and 3 racks of ribs

Cons: the snow melted and turned everything to ice. Driveways. Sidewalks. Streets. All ice. It makes things like driving and walking pretty difficult. 👎🏼

The ice is so thick that our neighbor was playing hockey in his driveway... in ice skates. 😲😂
