Hotel night

Thursday morning we took the dinghy over to the beach at Peck Lake. We spent an hour on our own private beach, then headed back to the boat.

We headed on down to Riviera Beach marina where we would spend the night before the next day’s trip. Since we were still on the Intracoastal we had a lot of bridges to open… 7 in all throughout the day. We checked into the marina in the late afternoon, then had an early dinner at the Tiki bar.

After spending two days on the boat, and looking over all our charts… we decided it is a much shorter distance to the Bahamas instead of the Keys. We decided to sleep on it and decide in the morning when we got up early ( 5:00 AM! ) to start our trip.
