happy halloween

The girls both had very specific requests for their costumes this year. Just my luck both costumes were sold out on Amazon. I did a bunch of searching and was lucky enough to find both of them somewhere else.

I waited until the very last minute to get pumpkins, so we scrambled to get pumpkins and carve them this morning. Olivia really liked this cat pumpkin from the jack-o-lantern event we went to at the zoo a last month. She looked at the picture and drew the face on her pumpkin.

Olivia needed help cutting hers out. She watched Braden very closely to make sure he wasn't messing it up.

It turned out adorable and she was so proud of herself.

Emma used a template of a haunted house from a pumpkin carving kit we have.

She also did an amazing job.
