On Saturday morning we boarded a one way flight to Grenada!

Meanwhile back in Minnesota we got 8"+ of snow.

We're renting a cottage for the week while we clean, organize, finish projects and unpack at the boat.

Our boat sat unused for 8 years... so there is a lot of cleaning to be done. The girls jumped right in and got to work.

We're trying to balance all the work with some fun, so we took a break from all the cleaning to have lunch on the beach and spend a couple hours swimming and playing in the sand.

Tomorrow we'll be back at it all over again.

We've had a lot of 24+ hour trips this time around. The trip from Great Inagua to Long Island was no exception. One of the stories we've always told the girls is in the Bahamas you can see starfish on the bottom right from the boat.
