fresh cold lemonade
Emma has been asking all summer to do a lemonade stand. Luckily we already had a stand that my mom and I painted for Emma’s birthday party last year.
She also decided that she wanted to sell brownies at her lemonade stand. Emma was too busy playing with her friend this afternoon, so Olivia and I made the brownies.
Once the brownies were ready, Olivia had a nap and we loaded up the wagon it was time!
I was hoping if we started around 4:30 PM and we set up along the main road in our neighborhood we could catch a lot of people coming home from work. This guy (probably heading home after a long days work) was their very first customer. ❤️
The three girls (Emma, Olivia and Emma’s best friend) hustled yelling “fresh cold lemonade” to anyone who could hear them. They walked away with $15. Not bad for three girls selling brownies and lemonade for an hour.
The girls split the money three ways, and had a super fun time. Seeing how excited they were when someone would stop made me feel bad for ever passing up a lemonade stand. Now I’m going to stop at every one I see! 🍋
