Braden and I have done a big boat trip before. In December 2011 we took a 3 month leave from work and sailed our boat to the Bahamas.

Back then we didn't have the girls, but we took our cat Ethel.

During our trip we made 3 stops in the USA and visited 7 Bahamian islands. We travelled 259 nautical miles for 67 days.

We swam with pigs, snorkeled at the famous Thunderball Grotto, saw Tommy Lee Jones and made friends who we are still in touch with today.

We absolutely love the Bahamas and hope to get back their one day with the girls.
