first cross country meet

If someone would have told me Emma would love cross country I would have never believed it. I had to basically twist her arm to even sign up and try it this year... but she LOVES it. For the last month she's been running 1.2 miles twice a week at practice. Tonight she had her first (of 4) cross country meets!

Only 1 parent was allowed to attend to keep within the crowd gathering rules. The running path went along the road, so Braden and Olivia parked there so they could cheer Emma on!

If you've ever seen any videos of Emma running track you know that I was at the finish line cheering her on... very loudly.
