family time
The girls and I took a detour on our way to Puerto Rico and stopped in Florida to visit my family while Braden headed to the boat a couple days before us to try to knock some projects out.
The last time we were in Jacksonville was in March 2023. It was right before we moved onto the boat for the very first time.
The girls love all the pets my parents have at their house. This is their cat Angel. She likes to hide, but Emma always finds her and wants to hold her... ever since 2015.
Of course we can't stop in Jacksonville without a visit to the Jacksonville Zoo.
Recently Olivia switched her favorite animal from the panda to the giraffe. Lucky for her the zoo has giraffes, and you can feed them! It wasn't very busy so they could feed them over and over. She loved it!
We also got to feed the lorikeets, touch the stingrays and ride the carousel (over and over).
Also on the Jacksonville agenda - Publix for Pub Subs and Blue Bell, an afternoon at the playground and school.
Finally it was time for us to head to Puerto Rico to get the boat back in the water and start our adventures. Where are we going...? Nobody knows (including us).
The only thing we know for sure is we will be heading to the Bahamas this winter, and we can't wait!
