Believe it or not we’ve also been getting some non-baby related projects done at home. When we bought our house in 2007 the garage door was not in the best shape. Who really wants to spend money on a new garage door? Its not a very fun purchase, and not cheap either… especially for our non-standard size door. Braden has just been fixing it when it breaks, and we get a couple more months of use before it breaks again.
Finally we decided it was just time for a new one. The new garage door has made Braden super excited, and this has been his only entry and exit from the house since it was installed. I’m excited that it seals properly and we will no longer get leaves in the garage.
Next on the non-baby project agenda is the 1/2 bath. I started tearing it apart almost a year ago, but never finished. I’d like to have it done before we start getting visitors to see the baby, but we’ve agreed we’ll hire someone to finish it. All we need to do now is buy the paint and call the guy. Hopefully in the next couple weeks we can cross this one off the list too.
