One of the previous owners in our house planted a rain garden (aka weed garden) in the back corner of our house. It always looks like a mess, so I was ready to get rid of it.

I forgot to take before pictures, but I found these old pictures showing some of the crazy tall plants growing back there.

I filled up 10 bags with yard waste to pull almost everything out of the ground.

Olivia and I took a trip with our friends to the plant store to buy a bunch of plants for the butterflies.

I'm not really a yard work person, so my friend came over to help get everything planted.

The rain stopped me from finishing getting all the rocks in, but today was finally a nice sunny day. I can't wait for these plants to get some flowers!
