book character day

This might be my favorite thing that Emma's school does. Today is the last day of a 2 week reading fundraiser. To celebrate the kids and teachers dress up as book characters.

Last year Emma chose Fancy Nancy.

This year she went with Pete the Cat. I loved her outfit last year, but I'm pretty proud of myself and this year's outfit. 😂

Emma really wanted blue hair, but she has to go straight from the bus to a cheerleading clinic. This morning she decided that she just wanted a streak of blue hair instead of her whole head.
