Braden's new hobby... beekeeping.

Emma has really taken a liking to helping with the bees.

We can't really take too much honey yet because the bees will need it to survive the winter. But this week Braden brough home a frame so we could try it out.

We weren't prepared for harvesting honey yet, so I watched some YouTube videos on ways to do it without the fancy harvesting equipment.

I didn't think we would have too much honey yet, so I bought small 2 oz jars to start. I filled 24 jars from the one frame of honey. It was a little difficult to get to this point, so Braden purchased some fancier equipment for next time.
